NSW Census - 1828
Transcribed Version
Eleanor never married William Morgan but she must have used his surname on various occasions, also noted on the Census are the acres Ellen had and stock that she held. Below her is her son Richard Morgan, age 22 years, the mention of a sentence of 7 years for Richard is a transcription error as it is not shown on the original Census. Listed also is Thomas Humphries who was a convict orignally assigned to Eleanor and who was mentioned in Eleanors will as "to be provided for, for the rest of his life". The other names on this list are convicts who were either assigned to Eleanor or her neighbour Mr R Nichol or worked on her land.
