My Direct Ancestors

Dedicated to my Parents John Orlando Taylor and Gloria Esma Sykes

This web site has been designed to allow access to ALL of the data that I have collected on my parental ancestors and their descendants.

The vast majority of information on an individual has been drawn from official Government documents, ie; Birth-Death-Marriage Registrations,
Parish Records, Census's, Immigration etc. This has been supported by input from family historians.

I have also used the Church of LDS International Genealogical Index (IGI). I have included these individuals for the reason that their names,
times and places do conform with my research criteria and as such I include them on the off chance that some other interested researcher maybe
able to either confirm that they are part of a particular family group or not. Where these names appear I have indicated this by (IGI) after their name.

Warning
All care has been taken in compiling this data but due to human error by persons transcribing or receiving the original information errors
can and have occurred. I stress that you please check official documents before assuming any entries in these pages are correct.
Some ages displayed in a persons profile are INCORRECT...this is due to not knowing the date of death and my software program assumes they are still alive.

Most of the information provided on the Convict page has been taken from official sources, but that is not to say that it is correct,
I have placed all information here only in good faith. Criticism is welcome and appreciated.

Military Family Members
The contributions for family members who have served in the Military has come from sources given to me personally or from the
Australian National Archives (World War One Personnel) or the Department of Veteran Affairs Web Site (World War Two Personnel)
from which searches can be made. Only that information which identifies the individual has been placed on my web page.
