Note (2) This muster noted that Ellen Frazer had 16 acres of maize to be planted and was off stores. She had four children living with her who were off stores. The land was acquired through a land grant. Note (3) Name listed as Eleanor Morgan. Note (4) Will of Eleanor Frazer - Willed and bequeathed to William Frazer Morgan and Richard Frazer Morgan 20 acres each of land originally granted to Richard Hudson. Provided that Thomas Humphreys (carpenter) to be provided for, for the rest of his life. Mrs Eleanor (sic) Frazer aged 83 years. Mrs Frazer was a ‘first fleeter’ having arrived on the formation of the colony. Her intellect was unimpaired to the last, she had a perfect recollection of the ‘first deed’ in New South Wales. She remembered Commodore de la Perouse, and used to describe the dress worn by persons forming the expedition under his command. Her remains were interred with those of her eldest son John (who was the second person born in this colony) in Liverpool Churh-yard, to which place the corps[sic] was followed by a long train of children, grandchildren and great grand children belonging to the deceased. On the 5 January 1789 he recieved 100 lashes for insolence, and on 23 June was sentenced to work in irons for a month for drunken insolence. An exlceent workman who"was supposed to have brought on an untimely end by hard drinking, as he seldom chose to accept any article but spirits in payment for work done in his extra hours" wrote Captain Collins.
