Note (2) Name appears as Hettey Young on her marriage certificate and as Hetty on some other documents. Note (3) Witness to the marriage was a Hannah Young who maybe a sister. Note (4) Boarders were living in the house and would have supported her income. Note (5) This info is current as at 31 Jan 2010. - William was born in the "Lying in Hospital" in the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth Middlesex England and was baptised the following day, I am thinking that maybe William had a medical condition at birth hence the baptism immediately following his birth. In any case William must have passed away before 1851 as he is not listed in the 1851 UK Census and his brother William Lawrence was born in 1852. This leads me to think that the first William passed away shortly after being born. Note (6) Birth year varies between sources from 1847 to 1849. Note (7) William L Taylor was appointed as a labourer with the General Post Office (G.P.O.) in London in 1871. The appointment was confirmed in the minutes 1113/72 of the Appointments Index 1871 after serving six months probation satisfactorily. Note (8) Maucimo Arayca Hortis Taylor must have changed his name to Hortis Taylor sometime between 1871 and 1881 as this name appears in the 1881, 1891 and 1901 UK Census's. Note (9) I have found that Maucimo Arayca Hortis Taylor was noted as being a female, Maucimo was confirmed as male by his birth certificate and entries in UK Census's. Birth year in Census's varies from between 1854 and 1857.
