The appointment was confirmed in the minutes 1113/72 of the Appointments Index 1871 after serving six months probation satisfactorily. Taylor died 4th dec 1918 aged 37 years - Leah Taylor died 9th Nov 1960 aged 80 Interred with his wife Leah Taylor (nee Turner). There are discrepancies between his marriage certificate and his two youngest childrens BC’s as to the year of his marriage. Witness's to the wedding were Albert Arthur Harrison and Rosetta Harrison...Rosetta is Leah's sister.
